About

Hello and welcome to Tree Song Vermont! I hope you’ll take a few minutes to read through these pages and contact me with any questions or to schedule your free initial consultation.

I’m Brooke Hughes-Muse, a birth and post partum doula, located in south-central Vermont on the New York border.  I completed my doula and midwife’s assistant certification through  Birth Arts International. I’m also an insured Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and when I can, I offer lactation support on the Women’s and Children’s floor at the local hospital.

For over ten years, I have been attending women (and their families) during their pregnancy and birth. I’m passionate about women having knowledge about all of the choices they have before, during, and after birth.

I’m also certified through  Heart of the Village Yoga in Manchester, VT as a 200-hr RYT. My goal is to work with prenatal and post partum mamas and babies, in addition to kiddos, teens, and other adults. I hold certification through Yoga Alliance and am insured.

In my day-to-day life, I help my husband and four daughters on our sweet potato farm, Laughing Child Farm.

Thanks for visiting my site. I would love to support you on your journey!

Much peace and love to you.

Why the name Tree Song? Trees are very important to me, as those close to me know. I believe trees are such an integral part of each of our lives and should be revered … just like the process of birth and each wonderful day of our life. Additionally, everyone has a song in their hearts – maybe they are already singing it, or maybe they only hear the faint music in the background. Either way, each song is as individual as the person it belongs to… just like the birth story, the yoga pose we move into, the life we lead. Tree Song Vermont helps me feel grounded, while spreading my song out into the world. I hope you will be a part of my TSV family one day. ❤
